When I started with Jackie I couldn’t sleep, I was on 4 different medications for panic attacks and depression, I ate out at least 1 meal a day, I ate and drank to medicate my emotions, and I couldn’t fathom not giving into my “urges” for pub food and beer.
Today I sleep 8 sound hours a night, have great focus during the day, pack my lunch and snacks every morning before work and take 0 medications. I’ve learned to eat food that makes my body feel good instead of giving into urges that left me feeling bloated and lethargic. I learned how to integrate veggies into every meal and actually like it. I learned to listen to what fuel my body needed to function well, rather than what I was in the mood for. While I am far from perfect, I eat out for social occasions only - almost never for my own convenience or because of an urge for grease and fat.
